The Ferrara Polo Tecnologico incubator, adjacent to the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ferrara, has many innovative features, including a trigeneration heating and cooling plant with electricity production counters in every module, a solar thermal system that contributes to the production of hot water, the provision for suction chimney hoods, the removal of liquid pollutants, and gas supply system engineers. Seven modules of between 50 and 100 square meters are available for companies operating in advanced sectors, prioritising University of Ferrara spin-offs no older than 36 months at the date of application submission.
It is part of the Siprocube Network of Incubators offering fully equipped facilities for new businesses: spaces of varying size with communal areas and connections to major utilities.
