The first 3D printer specialized in the processing of steel, developed to speed up the production of mechanical components. Parts of the machine were specifically engineered and constructed for managing and processing hypoeutectoid steel powders (C < 0.77%) because this material, in all its forms, is certainly the most widely used, versatile, and commonly available metal in the mechanical sector. 3D4STEEL is the first specialised 3D L-PBF system for non-reactive steel powders, customized for the production needs of each customer. It ensures the fastest production cycle times and top mechanical quality of components with lower operating costs.

3D4BRASS – The first 3D printer for brass.
3D4BRASS is the first machine for metal additive manufacturing in the world capable of processing brass powders without lead. 3D4BRASS creates finished, fully functioning components in brass without the need for traditional processing systems. 3D4BRASS is the fastest and least expensive option for producing small brass production runs, especially considering that the geometric complexity of each part does not have a major impact on the final cost of production. One of its main advantages is for the production of pre-series items for validation, since it is possible to create a significant range of different samples (5-10) within just a few hours compared to multiple days or even months by conventional means. This greatly speeds up time-to-market and offers customers a choice of alternatives in less time compared to traditional processing.
