HelixPharma was created in January 2017 as a University of Ferrara spinoff with the objective of facilitating the technology transfer of research carried out by University researchers on Snail Mucus in collaboration with companies in the Neutraceutical sector .This raw material, known from time immemorial but whose properties have never been studied in depth, has allowed us to open the way to new uses for it and to develop semi-finished products with high technological value.
