Knowbel is a startup incubator and accelerator launched by the Foundation Democenter-Sipe and Modena Technopolo at the Unione Terre di Castelli. 

Centuria, inside the Torricelli incubator, offers aspiring and new entrepreneurs a full service, starting from the definition of the business model and the verification of the sustainability of the business project, to the accompaniment of the company in the first three years of its life.

The incubator is made up of 15 laboratories, many of which are fully equipped, and 11 offices of various sizes. There is also a meeting room equipped with high definition video conferencing. 

Seven modules of between 50 and 100 square metres are available for companies operating in advanced sectors, prioritising University of Ferrara spin-offs no older than 36 months at the date of application submission. 

The structure, divided into two large modules of 600 square meters and six smaller modules of 300 square meters, is located right in the centre of ​​San Giovanni d'Ostellato, one of the most significant industrial areas in the entire province, both in terms of size and the types of business situated there. 

The Cassana business incubator is dedicated to craft activities and services, related in particular to activity in Ferrara, and new sectors such as alternative energy and environmental services.
