Established as a limited company in June 2010, Techno GF is engaged in the study, development and application of energy-saving software. Working on the premise that solar radiation behaves in a similar manner to the propagation of radio waves, this startup uses a sophisticated ray tracing program for the prediction of radio coverage in an urban environment, developing it to calculate solar intensity (in collaboration with the Department of Electronics, Computer Science and Systems at the University of Bologna).

Hydrosynergy was established in June 2010 by biologists from the BiGeA Department of the University of Bologna.

VAIMEE is an innovative startup and spinoff from the University of Bologna established in 2020. Floating photovoltaic systems. We supply patented floating systems designed to support photovoltaic solar panels for the creation of floating photovoltaic plants on dams, water reservoirs, hydroelectric plants, quarries, and any other body of water (fresh or salt) with the exclusion of the open sea. We also design and develop anchorage systems, enabling us to deliver turnkey floating photovoltaic plants.
