Aquabuddy

The idea for this business arose from the need for a safe and simple way to wash disabled and bedridden people, and the identification of a highly innovative solution to permanently eradicate the problem.

This led to Aquabuddy, a machine that allows you to bring the water to the person rather than the other way around, efficiently and effectively. Thanks to the technological advances in miniaturised gas and hydraulic circuitry made by a founding member of Aquabuddy (developed in the field of Research Contracts with CNR-IMM), a system can be created that avoids the use of in-line pumps, thus lessening the risk of bacterial contamination, and maintaining the high safety standards associated with medical equipment.
