We aim to foster the emergence of hyperlocal production, informed resilient communities, establishing a network of virtuous interdisciplinary relations.All over Italy we experiment, inform, and train, engaging with communities online and offline to promote and spread this culture.

VAIMEE is an innovative startup and spinoff from the University of Bologna established in 2020. Its technology enables development of modular data-driven applications in an extremely safe and scalable environment.Based on Open Source technologies, VAIMEE's horizontal Milkydataway solution is very flexible and can be implemented in any context, especially in domains characterized by heterogeneous, unstructured, and dynamic data.

Flash Innovations operates in the solar energy sector. The company develops solutions for increasing the safety of photovoltaic plants and direct current electrical systems.The product we are currently marketing, ArcoSTOP, reduces the risk of fires caused by electrical arcing.

Air Factory is an innovative start-up based in Piacenza and incubated at the Urban Hub. We design and develop services to validate and certify the performance quality of environmental data from test laboratories that monitor atmospheric emissions.

Borgo Etico is not just a simple shop on tap. It is also raising awareness of informed purchasing, primarily through the elimination of unnecessary packaging, thus promoting the reuse and recycling of materials. This represents an opportunity to promote waste reduction at the source, by buying only the required amount of unpackaged products. 2G Carbons S.r.l. intend to develop technologies, including a patented system (MgOCarbon), that reduce pollutants in waste water and recover nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorous), transforming them into high-efficiency sustainable fertilizers. The approach establishes a circular economic process that exploits the purification cycle to produce fertilizers and contribute to environmental sustainability.
