Zephyr is an innovative Italian startup operating in the UAS sector, commonly known as drones, and in the aerospace sector in general.As a spin-off from the University of Bologna, Zephyr was founded with the aim of implementing in business the years of research conducted by the team in the mechanics, dynamics, and flight control of remotely piloted aircraft. To date Zephyr provides engineering consultancy and technical support for important operators in the mechanical and aerospace industries.

The main mission of the company is the research, development, production, and marketing of innovative high-tech products and services in Italy and abroad, including the use of patents. There are two main areas of application:
