However, its use is subject to the limitations of high and constantly rising costs, and some ethical issues since the production process is mainly based outside of the European continent.

Bugslab is an innovative startup founded in 2021 with the aim of producing the most sustainable animal protein on the planet.   To achieve this objective, Bugslab focuses on the production of insects for use in pet food (whole or as food components for cats and dogs) and animal feed. Established as a limited company in June 2010, Techno GF is engaged in the study, development and application of energy-saving software. Working on the premise that solar radiation behaves in a similar manner to the propagation of radio waves, this startup uses a sophisticated ray tracing program for the prediction of radio coverage in an urban environment, developing it to calculate solar intensity (in collaboration with the Department of Electronics, Computer Science and Systems at the University of Bologna).
