The SAMIS platform was designed and developed by Heureka Ambiente to tackle pollution risk in large plants such as oil pipelines, purifiers, etc.

Hipert SRL is a spin-off from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. It was initiated in 2020 by Prof. Marko Bertogna and emerged from the HiPeRT laboratory, where research groups were seeking to exploit the performance/power of parallel processing platforms in a predictable manner, and in application contexts in which temporal constraints are critical.

SERENGEO is an innovative startup that provides consulting and design services in the field of geoengineering. Its goal is to transfer to industry the skills and knowledge gained in university research in the fields of mining engineering, environmental engineering, rock mechanics and geothermal energy. 

OpenTEA is a start-up company providing customised services for the development of e-learning courses within its own web platform, www.opentea.eu. 

Winet designs and realizes wireless sensor networks (WSN), mainly for environmental monitoring, industrial and landslides. The idea arose  by the two partners, both graduates specialists in Systems Engineering and Information Technology of ICT, and it is the provision of a comprehensive service monitor for customer-specific needs, composed by  a network of wireless sensors and subsequent analysis of data collected through monitoring.

Established as a limited company in June 2010, Techno GF is engaged in the study, development and application of energy-saving software. Working on the premise that solar radiation behaves in a similar manner to the propagation of radio waves, this startup uses a sophisticated ray tracing program for the prediction of radio coverage in an urban environment, developing it to calculate solar intensity (in collaboration with the Department of Electronics, Computer Science and Systems at the University of Bologna). 

Flash Innovations operates in the solar energy sector. The company develops solutions for increasing the safety of photovoltaic plants and direct current electrical systems.The product we are currently marketing, ArcoSTOP, reduces the risk of fires caused by electrical arcing.

GQenergy was born with the aim of designing and manufacturing eco-sustainable products. Thanks to its technology, GQenergy aims to change the way of supplying energy to any device with a battery, thus significantly reducing costs and pollution while providing greater autonomy. 

The project was conceived to transform the relationship between the tourist sector and the environment, reducing and offsetting the negative consequences associated with visiting tourists and their accommodation, making the latter the custodians of marine ecosystems. Through a web platform and strategic agreements with hotels, individual tourists can offset their own emissions by financing measures to protect the sea and coastline.

SaferPlaces is an innovative startup that develops digital technologies based on artificial intelligence, geospatial data, and climate models to support cities, public bodies, and insurers in the assessment and management of risk of floods and other extreme climate events.

LEBSC is an innovative startup that deals with research and development for the creation of innovative materials, biomaterials and micro- and nano materials in the chemical, biomedical, environmental, dental, cosmetic fields. LEBSC uses innovative techniques of synthesis that allow to obtain new materials with characteristics identical to those that are available in nature.LEBSC provides chemical, chemical and physical, environmental, asbestos and microbiological analysis.LEBSC designed two innovative systems:

The project called “A Tree for the Future” started as a national campaign for urban reforestation, preservation of green areas, creation of environmental education programs in schools, and activation of programs for social inclusion of fragile individuals.

Hydrosynergy was established in June 2010 by biologists from the BiGeA Department of the University of Bologna.

Cool Roof Company was born from the initiative of two professionals who have been working for years on passive cooling techniques for civic, industrial and agricultural buildings.

UP Urban Planning Ltd is an engineering company that deals in a multidisciplinary way with local urban transformation  through the use of decision support tools and urban data to integrate multiple contexts. The planning activity is always focused on avoiding the creation of a duality between sustainability projects and users behaviour, a duality that is often the source of inequity. Urban Planning is thus making use of economic and financial strategies in order to translate the idea into reality.

Pomodoro develops innovative web and mobile solutions aimed primarily at the Pharmaceutical and Green-Economy sectors.For the Green sector it has developed a new social network - WeCity - to spread the culture of sustainable mobility. The positive message is disseminated and promoted through the playing of a game in which users are rewarded depending on how often they use environmentally sustainable means of transport.It is also developing a new bike-sharing project whereby users manage the sharing of bicycles from within a dedicated community.
