VAIMEE is an innovative startup and spinoff from the University of Bologna established in 2020. Its technology enables development of modular data-driven applications in an extremely safe and scalable environment.Based on Open Source technologies, VAIMEE's horizontal Milkydataway solution is very flexible and can be implemented in any context, especially in domains characterized by heterogeneous, unstructured, and dynamic data.

Winet designs and realizes wireless sensor networks (WSN), mainly for environmental monitoring, industrial and landslides. The idea arose  by the two partners, both graduates specialists in Systems Engineering and Information Technology of ICT, and it is the provision of a comprehensive service monitor for customer-specific needs, composed by  a network of wireless sensors and subsequent analysis of data collected through monitoring.

ALFRED24 TECH deals with first and last mile logistics for the e-commerce world. This includes an internal network of dispatch and collection points, package lockers, smart lockers, with additional package services, and condominium lockers.  

Monitora's aim is marketing a patented continuous real-time monitoring system for medium to large sized thermal generators used for heating buildings. The system enables detection of malfunctions or drops in efficiency, enabling timely technical interventions, with a reduction in energy consumption and CO₂ emissions.

AlmaPlasma is a company that aims to design, manufacture and market advanced technological solutions in the field of atmospheric pressure thermal and non-thermal plasmas, developed by the Industrial Applications of Plasma (IAP) group at the University of Bologna.

Flash Innovations operates in the solar energy sector. The company develops solutions for increasing the safety of photovoltaic plants and direct current electrical systems.The product we are currently marketing, ArcoSTOP, reduces the risk of fires caused by electrical arcing.

ReFuel Solutions was born out of the urgent need to decarbonize the transport sector for goods and people. Established as a limited company in June 2010, Techno GF is engaged in the study, development and application of energy-saving software. Working on the premise that solar radiation behaves in a similar manner to the propagation of radio waves, this startup uses a sophisticated ray tracing program for the prediction of radio coverage in an urban environment, developing it to calculate solar intensity (in collaboration with the Department of Electronics, Computer Science and Systems at the University of Bologna).
