M4SS is an innovative SME founded in Reggio Emilia in 2017.
Our business model is entirely based around OpenSource. We are a team of developers who offer specific IT solutions for the Industrial IoT world, conceived according to a "security-by-design" approach.
We have dedicated 3200 hours to Research & Development in order to give concrete form to our new technology called "S451".
Our aim is to apply a consultancy approach to provide a secure and effective setup in preparation for data collection and exchange, together with designing a network infrastructure for the transit of the data.
In our work the OpenSource philosophy takes the form of offering consultancy, assistance, and training services in projects designed for individual customers, accompanied with guarantees for the technical properties of the collected data, with complete freedom from vendor lock-in or dependence on specific hardware. Our device could be defined as a mini-PC connected on board a vehicle in an industrial context, however experience has taught us just how varied the fields of application of Industrial IoT really are.
