Yougo is a company founded in 2020 by professionals working in the world of events and entertainment, with head office in Bologna.
The company was established with the aim of sustaining innovation in the organization and participation in events using modern technology and in line with national and European policies for digital transition towards environmental and economic sustainability.
The team includes businesspeople with a background in economics and culture who have worked for many years in the entertainment sector, defined as the combination of events and occasions that generate social interactions between individuals and promote their cultural development.
In order to pursue their goals, in March 2021 the company purchased the UGO application (https://ugo.community/), created in 2015 for digital ticketing for evening events, targeting young users (18 to 35 years) and available both for Android and iOS. This had the purpose of achieving a rebranding that extended its functions and improved its use.
At time of purchase the UGO package included:
- A community, comprising all the people who had interacted with the App since it was released.
- Partners in the network of organizers and promoters who had collaborated with UGO.
- The intellectual and physical human resources with their technical know-how, server and database, including UGO's development and consultancy team.
- Copyright over the concepts, graphics, and logo.
