Hipert SRL is a spin-off from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. It was initiated in 2020 by Prof. Marko Bertogna and emerged from the HiPeRT laboratory, where research groups were seeking to exploit the performance/power of parallel processing platforms in a predictable manner, and in application contexts in which temporal constraints are critical.

WHATaECO is an innovative female startup and the first low impact B2C e-commerce that promotes ethical and sustainable brands throughout the European Union. The site is powered 100% with clean energy, the logistics is based on drop shipping without a warehouse, with transport halved and compensated, and rigorously plastic-free packaging. The site currently markets a range of over 3000 ethical and sustainable products from more than 170 Italian and foreign brands.

Bugslab is an innovative startup founded in 2021 with the aim of producing the most sustainable animal protein on the planet.   To achieve this objective, Bugslab focuses on the production of insects for use in pet food (whole or as food components for cats and dogs) and animal feed. In the coming years Bugslab also intend to develop their own brand for the sale of products for humans based on insect flour.

AeroDron is one of the first Italian startups dedicated to services that use Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS). Since it was founded in 2013, AeroDron has researched and developed solutions in the civil sector, aimed at meeting the requirements of various industries and of public administration, making use of the immense value of the aerial images, using state of the art flight technologies, sensing, vision and post-processing.

AgroMateriae was established after three years of research in the laboratories of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, where excellent experimental results led to submission of a patent application for WPL (2019). TomaPaint is an innovative startup with the objective of marketing a bio-resin extracted from agro-industry waste tomato (mostly skins), which forms the main component of bio-paints or bio-coatings, for use in the food packaging sector. It is also raising awareness of informed purchasing, primarily through the elimination of unnecessary packaging, thus promoting the reuse and recycling of materials.
