Bugslab is an innovative startup founded in 2021 with the aim of producing the most sustainable animal protein on the planet.   To achieve this objective, Bugslab focuses on the production of insects for use in pet food (whole or as food components for cats and dogs) and animal feed. In the coming years Bugslab also intend to develop their own brand for the sale of products for humans based on insect flour.  

Established as a limited company in June 2010, Techno GF is engaged in the study, development and application of energy-saving software. Working on the premise that solar radiation behaves in a similar manner to the propagation of radio waves, this startup uses a sophisticated ray tracing program for the prediction of radio coverage in an urban environment, developing it to calculate solar intensity (in collaboration with the Department of Electronics, Computer Science and Systems at the University of Bologna). 

T-Green Smart Solutions intends to help create and spread a culture of sustainable use of energy, promoting the use of “green” energy sources and educating for informed and efficient energy consumption. This involves improving the performance of building and industrial systems with an integrated systemic approach based on process optimization, system upgrades, and innovation.

Hospitality Re-sign is an innovative start-up founded for the qualitative regeneration of tourist services in sustainable terms. Starting from an analysis of existing tourist facilities, those in disuse, and buildings potentially usable for tourism, Re-sign proposes registration on a three quality level hospitality portal. The core concept is an ad hoc certified restyling in an integrated, innovative, and certified "network" system.

Respyra is a device purposely designed for eliminating viruses and bacteria from the air, while it is also effective for eliminating dust, odours, mould, fungi, and pollen. Thanks to an innovative photocatalytic purification system it can decontaminate indoor air of all pathogenic agents and pollutants through an oxidization process at ambient temperature using the oxygen present in the air and with light produced by specific UV lamps.

SaferPlaces is an innovative startup that develops digital technologies based on artificial intelligence, geospatial data, and climate models to support cities, public bodies, and insurers in the assessment and management of risk of floods and other extreme climate events.

Reloo sets itself the objective of eliminating the informational chaos and repetitive tasks that slow companies down. We have created Andromeda, a platform of intelligent AI agents that integrate into the company infrastructure and operate on documents, files, databases, e-mail, etc. The aim is to create a team of virtual experts capable of carrying out operations on company data in real time.

The project called “A Tree for the Future” started as a national campaign for urban reforestation, preservation of green areas, creation of environmental education programs in schools, and activation of programs for social inclusion of fragile individuals.

The innovative startup Monitor the Planet® based in the Ravenna area was born in 2018 and offers surveying and mapping services with the best technological instruments in the world including total stations, 3D laser scanners, drones, etc.Monitor the Planet has soon expanded to North Italy by opening in Asti and Treviso. LEBSC is an innovative startup that deals with research and development for the creation of innovative materials, biomaterials and micro- and nano materials in the chemical, biomedical, environmental, dental, cosmetic fields. Leave The Sign is a group of professionals who work in innovation and design. We have patented an energy saving lighting system (ECO-LIGHT) and designed a product called Bill&Will that implements it. We are in the initial production stage with the intention of advancing a new and innovative lighting philosophy using natural, eco-sustainable materials. The professionals working on the project work in product design, graphics, software and hardware engineering, and handcrafts.
