SMACE, Smart Work in a Smart Place was founded in Ferrara in December 2020 based on an idea of Marta Romero and Andrea Droghetti to transform remote working into a work benefit.SMACE is a B2B solution for the management of work-spaces for company teams. By aggregating third party premises as alternatives to the office or home, together with a series of services suited to the work carried out by the groups, SMACE represents an ideal solution for externalizing management of the hybrid office.

Encryption, computer security, algorithms, telecommunications, cloud computing: these are the areas in which CryptoLab, a cryptographic research laboratory founded by Massimo Bertaccini, Alessandro Passerini and Tiziana Landi, operates. Bertaccini was among the winners of the second annual Innovami IPR Prize, which enabled him to apply for the patent on the following online encryption and data security software: the MB09 and MB11. These aim to reduce the use of passwords required for online transactions, resulting in increased levels of identity assurance.

Traxit have developed an IoT diagnostic platform that enables the tracing of people and things anywhere in the world. Connected telemetric devices complaint with all safety standards are used in planes, logistics, and road transport. In particular, the patented device for tracing baggage in planes is among the first in the world to be compliant with the regulations of the European Aviation Safety Agency, automatically switching to safe mode during all stages of flight.

IXoost is a limited company founded in Modena in July 2012 that designs, assembles and constructs sound systems using components from the world of motorsport, such as F1 exhaust manifolds and other body parts. All pieces are machined and have full Apple support. IXoost has also created an app that allows users to customise the use of the dock.
