The innovative startup Monitor the Planet® based in the Ravenna area was born in 2018 and offers surveying and mapping services with the best technological instruments in the world including total stations, 3D laser scanners, drones, etc.Monitor the Planet has soon expanded to North Italy by opening in Asti and Treviso. We grew to 150 customers and became a benchmark for Italy, with over 300 projects for surveying and mapping services with innovative technologies.

OpenTEA is a start-up company providing customised services for the development of e-learning courses within its own web platform, www.opentea.eu. 

Argi Tech make and sell premixed clay-based plaster, along with natural and recycled products for bio-architecture. Our main innovation is the product, "Argi Lite Bio Thermal Plaster".This is an indoor thermal plaster based on clay, organically cultivated hemp, recycled cellulose, and recycled cellulose flock. Leave The Sign is a group of professionals who work in innovation and design. We have patented an energy saving lighting system (ECO-LIGHT) and designed a product called Bill&Will that implements it. We are in the initial production stage with the intention of advancing a new and innovative lighting philosophy using natural, eco-sustainable materials. The professionals working on the project work in product design, graphics, software and hardware engineering, and handcrafts.

ZENIT's business idea of Smart Polycrystals is based on the production and sale of polycrystals for the solid state laser (SSL) machine market. Existing SSL systems have high manufacturing costs and the machines are heavy and bulky. These laser beams are generated by a single-crystal that heats up locally during laser emission, causing the temporary deformation of the crystalline cell, degrading the quality of the beam and reducing its efficiency.

Monitora's aim is marketing a patented continuous real-time monitoring system for medium to large sized thermal generators used for heating buildings. The system enables detection of malfunctions or drops in efficiency, enabling timely technical interventions, with a reduction in energy consumption and CO₂ emissions.

Its goal is to transfer to industry the skills and knowledge gained in university research in the fields of mining engineering, environmental engineering, rock mechanics and geothermal energy. 

The project was conceived to transform the relationship between the tourist sector and the environment, reducing and offsetting the negative consequences associated with visiting tourists and their accommodation, making the latter the custodians of marine ecosystems. Through a web platform and strategic agreements with hotels, individual tourists can offset their own emissions by financing measures to protect the sea and coastline.
