O-Damp is an innovative startup established as a spin-off from the University of Bologna, dedicated to the development of advanced technologies for personal protection in the motorbike, sport, and workplace safety sectors.

JEM Tech was born out of experience in operating theatres during doctorate teaching in Verona hospital. A lack of assessment of cardiac kinetics was observed during surgical operations due to limitations in current technology.JEM Tech therefore developed and built the first videocardiograph (VCG), a non-invasive medical device based on artificial intelligence (A.I.) capable of assessing the mechanical operation of the heart in real-time using only a video camera.

The project aims to further develop the Look At Me platform through implementation of new video analysis functions based on artificial intelligence, the customization of the user experience from the perspective of statistical analyses of performance, and the improvement of the capacity for managing and monitoring sports centres.

U-Watch is the tracking system which allows to monitor, contact and protect people, with a specific focus on people affected by chronicle deseases.

FitStadium is a training app devised by the Cesena team of the same name.The startup was founded by Denis Brighi and Luca Domeniconi, graduates in Computer Engineering at Cesena, and Milos Jankovic, a Telecommunications Engineering graduate at Bologna.FitStadium's primary objective was to offer all fitness enthusiasts an online meeting point: so in September 2012, the FitStadium.com social network was launched.

The company originates from the Interdepartmental Research Centre Biopharmanet-Tec at the University of Parma, at the hub of Emilia Romagna's high tech network, and produces innovative medicines in powder form for administration by inhalation of antibiotics and chemotherapy.Plumestars was selected for inclusion in the SeedLab acceleration program 2013, came second at Innovaday 2013, and got down to the final five of 620 startups at the Gaetano Marzotto Prize in 2013, where it won the Unicredit Talent of Ideas award.

Borgo Etico is not just a simple shop on tap. Purò Srl develops solutions based on free oxygen (ozone) for hair care and regeneration, starting from a scientific discoveries tested at the Carlo Bo University of Urbino.The company has patented a "Cosmetic hair method using ozone" in Italy, the USA, Europe, and Japan, and registered the European brand Purò.

Neurality has realized an SaaS for analysing images and video applying artificial intelligence techniques with the aim of extracting crucial information for the businesses in which they are used. After successful applications in the medical world, the Neurality methods are expanding to other markets, including industry and agri-food.

SEFFILINE was founded in 2018 with the aim of making autologous regenerative therapy accessible to everyone. For some years, autologous regenerative therapy using mesenchymal stem cells of adipose origin has been considered a state-of-art technology, and is supported by an enormous scientific literature. It evolved and was developed in academia, assisted with technology transfer from an academic spin-off.
