Ecoinnovazione is a spin-off from ENEA, accredited as an industrial research laboratory in the Emilia-Romagna High-Tech network. We offer companies and public authorities customized solutions for the assessment and promotion of sustainability in the environmental, economic, and social dimensions. We develop products while also addressing organizations and local territory.

Leave The Sign is a group of professionals who work in innovation and design. We have patented an energy saving lighting system (ECO-LIGHT) and designed a product called Bill&Will that implements it. We are in the initial production stage with the intention of advancing a new and innovative lighting philosophy using natural, eco-sustainable materials. The professionals working on the project work in product design, graphics, software and hardware engineering, and handcrafts.

GQenergy was born with the aim of designing and manufacturing eco-sustainable products. Thanks to its technology, GQenergy aims to change the way of supplying energy to any device with a battery, thus significantly reducing costs and pollution while providing greater autonomy.

Real Time OCM is a SanChip Innovation (SCI) project, an innovative start-up with the objective of helping companies who own industrial machinery, means of transport (e.g. ships), machines for producing energy (e.g. wind turbines, gas engines, etc.), and OEMs to implement predictive maintenance for their machine assets.

In vitro cell cultivation is a widely applied technology worldwide in the fields of pharmacology, cosmetics, diagnostics, and research, normally using foetal bovine serum (FBS) as a nutrition source. However, its use is subject to the limitations of high and constantly rising costs, and some ethical issues since the production process is mainly based outside of the European continent.

We are an innovative startup and benefit company with the participation of the University of Bologna, constructing digital instruments for a future in which the social and relational dimension is included into systems of automation, simulation, and forecasting for planning and strategies in local areas.

Monitora's aim is marketing a patented continuous real-time monitoring system for medium to large sized thermal generators used for heating buildings. The system enables detection of malfunctions or drops in efficiency, enabling timely technical interventions, with a reduction in energy consumption and CO₂ emissions.

VAIMEE is an innovative startup and spinoff from the University of Bologna established in 2020. Its technology enables development of modular data-driven applications in an extremely safe and scalable environment.Based on Open Source technologies, VAIMEE's horizontal Milkydataway solution is very flexible and can be implemented in any context, especially in domains characterized by heterogeneous, unstructured, and dynamic data.

Augea Energia Srl is an innovative startup founded from the idea of creating a technical and commercial structure with integrated services for the Energy Saving and Technologies 4.0 sector. Our aim is to be a reference for companies constantly looking for innovative high performance technological solutions for improving energy efficiency. At Augea Energia we strive to develop new technologies that optimize energy consumption mainly using renewable, unlimited, free energy sources.

Bugslab is an innovative startup founded in 2021 with the aim of producing the most sustainable animal protein on the planet.   To achieve this objective, Bugslab focuses on the production of insects for use in pet food (whole or as food components for cats and dogs) and animal feed. In the coming years Bugslab also intend to develop their own brand for the sale of products for humans based on insect flour.  

Winet designs and realizes wireless sensor networks (WSN), mainly for environmental monitoring, industrial and landslides. The idea arose  by the two partners, both graduates specialists in Systems Engineering and Information Technology of ICT, and it is the provision of a comprehensive service monitor for customer-specific needs, composed by  a network of wireless sensors and subsequent analysis of data collected through monitoring.

Mainly aimed at companies in the metal industry who intend to reduce the time and cost of component processing by exploiting the flexibility of latest generation laser systems.

Pearfid uses innovative technology to produce RFID devices.

The project was conceived to transform the relationship between the tourist sector and the environment, reducing and offsetting the negative consequences associated with visiting tourists and their accommodation, making the latter the custodians of marine ecosystems. Through a web platform and strategic agreements with hotels, individual tourists can offset their own emissions by financing measures to protect the sea and coastline.
