Prometheus is an innovative startup, born in 2017, that focuses on biotechnologies and medical devices for regenerative medicine.Its first product is Ematik, a customised patch to cure skin wounds, created starting from the patient's blood. The identified solution cuts in half the healing times, without side effects and scars.The patch can be produced with Ematik Ready, a manual kit or Ematik Lab, a completely automatic system that standardises the process.

Added is an innovative startup focussed on the development and production of 3D-printed orthopaedic braces, personalised for individual patients.

Borgo Etico is not just a simple shop on tap. It is also raising awareness of informed purchasing, primarily through the elimination of unnecessary packaging, thus promoting the reuse and recycling of materials. Air Factory is an innovative start-up based in Piacenza and incubated at the Urban Hub. We design and develop services to validate and certify the performance quality of environmental data from test laboratories that monitor atmospheric emissions.

JEM Tech was born out of experience in operating theatres during doctorate teaching in Verona hospital. A lack of assessment of cardiac kinetics was observed during surgical operations due to limitations in current technology.JEM Tech therefore developed and built the first videocardiograph (VCG), a non-invasive medical device based on artificial intelligence (A.I.) capable of assessing the mechanical operation of the heart in real-time using only a video camera.
