Hydrosynergy was established in June 2010 by biologists from the BiGeA Department of the University of Bologna.

Air Factory is an innovative start-up based in Piacenza and incubated at the Urban Hub. We design and develop services to validate and certify the performance quality of environmental data from test laboratories that monitor atmospheric emissions.

We design and construct soil-less cultivation plants through customized consultation with farms, private individuals, public authorities, and schools. We aim to foster the emergence of hyperlocal production, informed resilient communities, establishing a network of virtuous interdisciplinary relations.All over Italy we experiment, inform, and train, engaging with communities online and offline to promote and spread this culture.

Alleviamo is a startup founded in 2018 on the strength of Sergio Lusetti’s enthusiasm for innovation in pig farming since 1947. 

SERENGEO is an innovative startup that provides consulting and design services in the field of geoengineering. Its goal is to transfer to industry the skills and knowledge gained in university research in the fields of mining engineering, environmental engineering, rock mechanics and geothermal energy.

VAIMEE is an innovative startup and spinoff from the University of Bologna established in 2020. Leave The Sign is a group of professionals who work in innovation and design. We have patented an energy saving lighting system (ECO-LIGHT) and designed a product called Bill&Will that implements it. We are in the initial production stage with the intention of advancing a new and innovative lighting philosophy using natural, eco-sustainable materials. The professionals working on the project work in product design, graphics, software and hardware engineering, and handcrafts.

Our main innovation is the product, "Argi Lite Bio Thermal Plaster".This is an indoor thermal plaster based on clay, organically cultivated hemp, recycled cellulose, and recycled cellulose flock. Pomodoro develops innovative web and mobile solutions aimed primarily at the Pharmaceutical and Green-Economy sectors.For the Green sector it has developed a new social network - WeCity - to spread the culture of sustainable mobility. The positive message is disseminated and promoted through the playing of a game in which users are rewarded depending on how often they use environmentally sustainable means of transport.It is also developing a new bike-sharing project whereby users manage the sharing of bicycles from within a dedicated community.
