HIGHVERTER provides an energy storage service that combines the easy access of second-life batteries with the reliability and safety of an innovative technology.

Floating photovoltaic systems. We supply patented floating systems designed to support photovoltaic solar panels for the creation of floating photovoltaic plants on dams, water reservoirs, hydroelectric plants, quarries, and any other body of water (fresh or salt) with the exclusion of the open sea. We also design and develop anchorage systems, enabling us to deliver turnkey floating photovoltaic plants.

Our aim is to save Amazonia through a new approach to conservation, not only for ethical reasons but also for business ends. For this purpose, we create the conditions in which maintaining the forest intact generates greater economic gains than cutting it down, for both landowners and local people.

BB EVO is an innovative start-up company that supports new projects in the mechanical and hydraulic areas.

Hipert SRL is a spin-off from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. It was initiated in 2020 by Prof. Marko Bertogna and emerged from the HiPeRT laboratory, where research groups were seeking to exploit the performance/power of parallel processing platforms in a predictable manner, and in application contexts in which temporal constraints are critical.

Alleviamo is a startup founded in 2018 on the strength of Sergio Lusetti’s enthusiasm for innovation in pig farming since 1947. 

The patented technology application called TRAILS transforms every street light into an IoT device that is intelligent and interconnected, thanks to the gathering of sound information combined with the use of artificial intelligence.The TRAILS dispersed application helps reduce wastage of light and energy in street lighting by over 40%, supplying only the necessary quantity of light where and when needed.

The project called “A Tree for the Future” started as a national campaign for urban reforestation, preservation of green areas, creation of environmental education programs in schools, and activation of programs for social inclusion of fragile individuals.

BathBact is offered as a green alternative to chemical treatment of wastewater. A cocktail of microbes is used to degrade contaminants and recuperate the waste.Our first product is a mobile tank completely free of chemical substances and capable of breaking down waste through the action of aerobic microorganisms.

Seabreath srl is developing a new multi-chamber oscillating water column system to generate energy from sea waves.The project is on the verge of entering phase TRL7 with experimentation at sea and a search for partners.

Kinsect have developed an industrial process for producing protein flour for animal feed, based on large scale insect breeding.The startup is in a sector that is growing rapidly in response to a need for protein sources. The EU imports more than 60% of the protein used for animal feed and a recent general increase in prices has been caused by growing demand from breeders, falling fish yields from the sea, expansion limits on agricultural land, and also climate change.

Modular lithium batteries for special applications: off-road, agriculture, worksites, nautical, aerospace.

Existing practice in the door and window frame market oblige final users to choose between sound shielding and air quality derived from good ventilation, without considering the energy consumption of certain mechanized systems.Sound maTERia make door and window frames applying passive metamaterial technologies that are energy self-sufficient, high performance, and made from recycled materials. Our windows can be adapted to any shape and size and enable public and private organizations to create quieter healthier interior spaces.

VAIMEE is an innovative startup and spinoff from the University of Bologna established in 2020. Its technology enables development of modular data-driven applications in an extremely safe and scalable environment.Based on Open Source technologies, VAIMEE's horizontal Milkydataway solution is very flexible and can be implemented in any context, especially in domains characterized by heterogeneous, unstructured, and dynamic data.

Machines and consultancy for sustainable packaging solutions.

T-Green Smart Solutions intends to help create and spread a culture of sustainable use of energy, promoting the use of “green” energy sources and educating for informed and efficient energy consumption. This involves improving the performance of building and industrial systems with an integrated systemic approach based on process optimization, system upgrades, and innovation.

Turtle Srl offers the first sustainability management software that quantifies the environmental, social, and economic impact of companies in diverse sectors, both manufacturers and services. A quantitative approach and close analysis of company data makes it possible to derive reliable information about company sustainability, avoiding communication of non-verifiable and non comparable results.

The project was conceived to transform the relationship between the tourist sector and the environment, reducing and offsetting the negative consequences associated with visiting tourists and their accommodation, making the latter the custodians of marine ecosystems. Through a web platform and strategic agreements with hotels, individual tourists can offset their own emissions by financing measures to protect the sea and coastline.

Minerva Systems provides system software that optimizes the design and simplifies implementation of applications that have predictable multi-critical parameters and are based on AI for the next generation of integrated systems.Minerva Systems is a startup and spinoff of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. It operates with a team of around a dozen people in Modena (Italy) and Munich (Germany).
