SmartERcare is a HW and SW system for digital care and remote monitoring of patients and individuals in the domestic environment. The system provides innovative care for the elderly and other fragile individuals. It is easy to use and the measurable parameters are highly configurable and customizable to each individual.
SmartERcare is based on monitoring sensors for patient parameters like blood oxygen level, heart rate, body temperature, and ambient conditions. SmartERcare operates within a PAN (Personal Area Network) using Bluetooth BLE wireless communication based on a standard model smartphone operated by the patient.
A software app on the smartphone manages the remote monitoring functions over the Wi-Fi and mobile phone networks.
The SmartERcare system is based on standard open software, making it interoperable and able to cooperate and swop information or services with other systems.
All the smartphone software (app), for the telemedicine cloud centre(s), and the communication formats and protocols are designed and created by Nexter srl.
