BoneArmed was founded in 2023 in Bologna, operating in the orthopaedic biomedical sector. The startup produces and markets an implantable medical device for treating knee arthritis, applying a completely innovative approach from the perspectives of both cause of arthritic pain and the implanting of the device.

Biococoon srl was founded as an "innovative start-up" company on the strength of the product of the same name. This is a simple bag containing bioceramics and rare minerals that on contact with water eliminates chlorine and makes the water alkaline and antioxidant.

Neurality has realized an SaaS for analysing images and video applying artificial intelligence techniques with the aim of extracting crucial information for the businesses in which they are used. After successful applications in the medical world, the Neurality methods are expanding to other markets, including industry and agri-food.

In vitro cell cultivation is a widely applied technology worldwide in the fields of pharmacology, cosmetics, diagnostics, and research, normally using foetal bovine serum (FBS) as a nutrition source. However, its use is subject to the limitations of high and constantly rising costs, and some ethical issues since the production process is mainly based outside of the European continent.

The system is designed to overcome traditional barriers to the benefits of mental health care, providing safe, anonymous consultancy without ulterior commitments from users or psychologists.

Inwire develops compact wearable devices for the protection of personal items in private and public settings. The system comprises two components: Tag, a bracelet device with integrated vibration, and Anchor, a device fitted with a buzzer for insertion into bags, wallets, or smartphones.
