AlmaPlasma is a company that aims to design, manufacture and market advanced technological solutions in the field of atmospheric pressure thermal and non-thermal plasmas, developed by the Industrial Applications of Plasma (IAP) group at the University of Bologna.

We design and construct soil-less cultivation plants through customized consultation with farms, private individuals, public authorities, and schools. We aim to foster the emergence of hyperlocal production, informed resilient communities, establishing a network of virtuous interdisciplinary relations.All over Italy we experiment, inform, and train, engaging with communities online and offline to promote and spread this culture.

Hospitality Re-sign is an innovative start-up founded for the qualitative regeneration of tourist services in sustainable terms. Starting from an analysis of existing tourist facilities, those in disuse, and buildings potentially usable for tourism, Re-sign proposes registration on a three quality level hospitality portal. The core concept is an ad hoc certified restyling in an integrated, innovative, and certified "network" system.

It is a reference supplier for private citizens, technicians, and companies that strive to use healthy ecological building materials. Bugslab is an innovative startup founded in 2021 with the aim of producing the most sustainable animal protein on the planet.   To achieve this objective, Bugslab focuses on the production of insects for use in pet food (whole or as food components for cats and dogs) and animal feed. In the coming years Bugslab also intend to develop their own brand for the sale of products for humans based on insect flour.  

Argi Tech make and sell premixed clay-based plaster, along with natural and recycled products for bio-architecture. Our main innovation is the product, "Argi Lite Bio Thermal Plaster".This is an indoor thermal plaster based on clay, organically cultivated hemp, recycled cellulose, and recycled cellulose flock. OpenTEA is a start-up company providing customised services for the development of e-learning courses within its own web platform, www.opentea.eu. 

2G Carbons S.r.l. intend to develop technologies, including a patented system (MgOCarbon), that reduce pollutants in waste water and recover nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorous), transforming them into high-efficiency sustainable fertilizers. The approach establishes a circular economic process that exploits the purification cycle to produce fertilizers and contribute to environmental sustainability.

VAIMEE is an innovative startup and spinoff from the University of Bologna established in 2020. Its technology enables development of modular data-driven applications in an extremely safe and scalable environment.Based on Open Source technologies, VAIMEE's horizontal Milkydataway solution is very flexible and can be implemented in any context, especially in domains characterized by heterogeneous, unstructured, and dynamic data.

eDriveLAB is a spin-off of the University of Parma that innovates within the vehicular mobility sector.

Neurality has realized an SaaS for analysing images and video applying artificial intelligence techniques with the aim of extracting crucial information for the businesses in which they are used. After successful applications in the medical world, the Neurality methods are expanding to other markets, including industry and agri-food.
