Borgo Etico is not just a simple shop on tap. It is also raising awareness of informed purchasing, primarily through the elimination of unnecessary packaging, thus promoting the reuse and recycling of materials. This represents an opportunity to promote waste reduction at the source, by buying only the required amount of unpackaged products. People will be educated in the reuse of packaging (bags, jars, plastic containers, etc.), whilst simultaneously saving money and reducing environmental impacts.

The company was founded in 2017 from the idea of a pool of engineers with over 15 years of direct experience in the wholesale energy and environmental markets. Its primary mission is to spread and uphold the policies of environmental sustainability though research, development, and the spread of innovative solutions (not only technological) addressing both energy consumers and operators.

The innovative startup Monitor the Planet® based in the Ravenna area was born in 2018 and offers surveying and mapping services with the best technological instruments in the world including total stations, 3D laser scanners, drones, etc.Monitor the Planet has soon expanded to North Italy by opening in Asti and Treviso. We grew to 150 customers and became a benchmark for Italy, with over 300 projects for surveying and mapping services with innovative technologies.

Real Time OCM is a SanChip Innovation (SCI) project, an innovative start-up with the objective of helping companies who own industrial machinery, means of transport (e.g. ships), machines for producing energy (e.g. wind turbines, gas engines, etc.), and OEMs to implement predictive maintenance for their machine assets.

The project was conceived to transform the relationship between the tourist sector and the environment, reducing and offsetting the negative consequences associated with visiting tourists and their accommodation, making the latter the custodians of marine ecosystems. Through a web platform and strategic agreements with hotels, individual tourists can offset their own emissions by financing measures to protect the sea and coastline.

iFarming develops field monitoring systems based on innovative technologies. Relying on years of applied research, it introduces IoT potential in agricultural decision-making and enhances sustainable, as well as affordable and remunerative precision farming.

VAIMEE is an innovative startup and spinoff from the University of Bologna established in 2020. Caramella Multimedia is a spin-off of Porrini s.r.l., operating in the transport and logistics sector.From the world of transportation and related needs comes Metropoli: a suite of GPS controls developed for the management of activities related to the mobility of workers.What distinguishes Metropoli from other GPS control systems is the use of common smartphones that do not require the installation of hardware or interfaces or other modifications.

Alleviamo is a startup founded in 2018 on the strength of Sergio Lusetti’s enthusiasm for innovation in pig farming since 1947. 

2G Carbons S.r.l. intend to develop technologies, including a patented system (MgOCarbon), that reduce pollutants in waste water and recover nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorous), transforming them into high-efficiency sustainable fertilizers. The approach establishes a circular economic process that exploits the purification cycle to produce fertilizers and contribute to environmental sustainability.

Cool Roof Company was born from the initiative of two professionals who have been working for years on passive cooling techniques for civic, industrial and agricultural buildings.
