Respyra is a device purposely designed for eliminating viruses and bacteria from the air, while it is also effective for eliminating dust, odours, mould, fungi, and pollen. Thanks to an innovative photocatalytic purification system it can decontaminate indoor air of all pathogenic agents and pollutants through an oxidization process at ambient temperature using the oxygen present in the air and with light produced by specific UV lamps.

Argi Tech make and sell premixed clay-based plaster, along with natural and recycled products for bio-architecture. Our main innovation is the product, "Argi Lite Bio Thermal Plaster".This is an indoor thermal plaster based on clay, organically cultivated hemp, recycled cellulose, and recycled cellulose flock. ReFuel Solutions was born out of the urgent need to decarbonize the transport sector for goods and people. A functioning vehicle with a number of years of life remaining cannot simply be scrapped due to the substantial environmental impact of scrapping and the expense of substitution.ReFuel has invented a product for such vehicles, instead adapting them to satisfy the new environmental requirements: BiodieselKit.This innovative technology guarantees maximum exploitation of the potential of biofuels.

In vitro cell cultivation is a widely applied technology worldwide in the fields of pharmacology, cosmetics, diagnostics, and research, normally using foetal bovine serum (FBS) as a nutrition source. However, its use is subject to the limitations of high and constantly rising costs, and some ethical issues since the production process is mainly based outside of the European continent.

ZENIT's business idea of Smart Polycrystals is based on the production and sale of polycrystals for the solid state laser (SSL) machine market. Existing SSL systems have high manufacturing costs and the machines are heavy and bulky. These laser beams are generated by a single-crystal that heats up locally during laser emission, causing the temporary deformation of the crystalline cell, degrading the quality of the beam and reducing its efficiency.

The innovative startup Monitor the Planet® based in the Ravenna area was born in 2018 and offers surveying and mapping services with the best technological instruments in the world including total stations, 3D laser scanners, drones, etc.Monitor the Planet has soon expanded to North Italy by opening in Asti and Treviso. We grew to 150 customers and became a benchmark for Italy, with over 300 projects for surveying and mapping services with innovative technologies.

Established in late 2013, MSX Technology produces innovative ventilation louvres for the unit heater, heat exchanger and cooling tower markets.The target sectors are energy production and the treatment of petrochemical waste, as well as heat generation in general, both industrial and civil. This market is growing rapidly, especially in countries experiencing population growth.MSX Technology has developed a new and innovative ventilation louvre with components that are fully optimised both in terms of weight and production efficiency.

The project called “A Tree for the Future” started as a national campaign for urban reforestation, preservation of green areas, creation of environmental education programs in schools, and activation of programs for social inclusion of fragile individuals.

AgroMateriae was established after three years of research in the laboratories of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, where excellent experimental results led to submission of a patent application for WPL (2019). It was accredited as an innovative startup by the University of Modena, with the objective of ramping up the technology to an industrial scale.

The patented technology application called TRAILS transforms every street light into an IoT device that is intelligent and interconnected, thanks to the gathering of sound information combined with the use of artificial intelligence.The TRAILS dispersed application helps reduce wastage of light and energy in street lighting by over 40%, supplying only the necessary quantity of light where and when needed.

Ecocircular s.r.l. is an innovative startup that produces rubber and plastic treatment plants (even from waste) using proprietary patents and technology.

UP Urban Planning Ltd is an engineering company that deals in a multidisciplinary way with local urban transformation  through the use of decision support tools and urban data to integrate multiple contexts.
