The business idea underlying PerFormS is the innovative formulation of health products through the application of advanced technologies for the delivery of bioactive molecules, both natural and synthetic, in order to improve bioavailability, helping to overcome the biological barriers associated with the various forms of administration.

HelixPharma was created in January 2017 as a University of Ferrara spinoff with the objective of facilitating the technology transfer of research carried out by University researchers on Snail Mucus in collaboration with companies in the Neutraceutical sector .This raw material, known from time immemorial but whose properties have never been studied in depth, has allowed us to open the way to new uses for it and to develop semi-finished products with high technological value.

eSteps acts to counter increasing motor disability in the lower limbs, providing monitoring solutions before, during, and after hospitalization. It applies biomechanical and telerehabilitation protocols along with sports telemonitoring. These combine with hi-tech customized, sustainable solutions that prioritize patients and sportsmen.

Pomodoro develops innovative web and mobile solutions aimed primarily at the Pharmaceutical and Green-Economy sectors.For the Green sector it has developed a new social network - WeCity - to spread the culture of sustainable mobility. The positive message is disseminated and promoted through the playing of a game in which users are rewarded depending on how often they use environmentally sustainable means of transport.It is also developing a new bike-sharing project whereby users manage the sharing of bicycles from within a dedicated community.

Biococoon srl was founded as an "innovative start-up" company on the strength of the product of the same name. This is a simple bag containing bioceramics and rare minerals that on contact with water eliminates chlorine and makes the water alkaline and antioxidant.

Stem Sel manufactures electrical, electronic and optical machinery and equipment, promoted by biologists. It evolved and was developed in academia, assisted with technology transfer from an academic spin-off. It is based on patented stem cell selection technology with the aim of bringing it to the cell therapy market at a pre-competitive level.

Respyra is a device purposely designed for eliminating viruses and bacteria from the air, while it is also effective for eliminating dust, odours, mould, fungi, and pollen. Thanks to an innovative photocatalytic purification system it can decontaminate indoor air of all pathogenic agents and pollutants through an oxidization process at ambient temperature using the oxygen present in the air and with light produced by specific UV lamps.

U-Watch is the tracking system which allows to monitor, contact and protect people, with a specific focus on people affected by chronicle deseases.
