Ecoinnovazione is a spin-off from ENEA, accredited as an industrial research laboratory in the Emilia-Romagna High-Tech network. We offer companies and public authorities customized solutions for the assessment and promotion of sustainability in the environmental, economic, and social dimensions. We develop products while also addressing organizations and local territory.

It is a reference supplier for private citizens, technicians, and companies that strive to use healthy ecological building materials. We offer high quality lime and certified derivative products manufactured in Italy. We are based in Bologna but operate all over the country and abroad.

In vitro cell cultivation is a widely applied technology worldwide in the fields of pharmacology, cosmetics, diagnostics, and research, normally using foetal bovine serum (FBS) as a nutrition source. However, its use is subject to the limitations of high and constantly rising costs, and some ethical issues since the production process is mainly based outside of the European continent.

Augea Energia Srl is an innovative startup founded from the idea of creating a technical and commercial structure with integrated services for the Energy Saving and Technologies 4.0 sector. Our aim is to be a reference for companies constantly looking for innovative high performance technological solutions for improving energy efficiency. An innovative startup founded in September 2013, UP2GO s.r.l.s is the brainchild of five founding members, professionals from various fields that include pharmaceuticals, food, real estate, consulting, telecommunications and technological innovation.

Winet designs and realizes wireless sensor networks (WSN), mainly for environmental monitoring, industrial and landslides. Hydrosynergy was established in June 2010 by biologists from the BiGeA Department of the University of Bologna.

Bugslab is an innovative startup founded in 2021 with the aim of producing the most sustainable animal protein on the planet.   To achieve this objective, Bugslab focuses on the production of insects for use in pet food (whole or as food components for cats and dogs) and animal feed. In the coming years Bugslab also intend to develop their own brand for the sale of products for humans based on insect flour.  

eDriveLAB is a spin-off of the University of Parma that innovates within the vehicular mobility sector.

The innovative startup Monitor the Planet® based in the Ravenna area was born in 2018 and offers surveying and mapping services with the best technological instruments in the world including total stations, 3D laser scanners, drones, etc.Monitor the Planet has soon expanded to North Italy by opening in Asti and Treviso. We grew to 150 customers and became a benchmark for Italy, with over 300 projects for surveying and mapping services with innovative technologies.
