Whole Factory (BO)

The Whole Platform is an open source technology for engineering the production of software.

Based on the idea that programming is an activity concerning the development of domain languages, the Whole Platform provides an Eclipse-based Language Workbench for developing new languages, manipulating them using domain notations and transforming them using a generative model driven approach.

Partybag (RE)

PARTYBAG is a portable audio system powered by rechargeable batteries, built into a backpack and characterised by being high fidelity, easily portable and compatible with all of the common sound sources, including microphones, musical instruments, mp3 players and mobile phones.

Thanks to a passion for technology, combined with university training in technical engineering, the team has been developing technology projects since 2010, experimenting with new ideas to improve performance, with particular reference to sound broadcasting.

Humarker (PC)

Founded in January 2014, Humarker s.r.l. is an innovative start-up based in Parma. Humarker works to promote Italian culture and heritage through real and virtual structures, and through business models that embrace innovation and experimentation with new technologies. The idea is to enter the market of augmented reality (AR) by developing application frameworks with which to develop and market apps for the Cultural Heritage sector. 

Pikkart (MO)

Pikkart, the company that brings together Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence.

Pikkart Srl started in Modena as a small project of the long-standing software house Progetti di Impresa together with a group of researchers from the University of Modena, and has grown to become first a startup specialized in mobile solutions that use augmented reality, then a scaleup that develops sectoral solutions combining AR and artificial intelligence.

Santafranca60 (PC)

Santafranca60 is a graphic media studio offering a new QR code design service characterised by the spirit of innovation and the ever-present search for the detail that makes the difference. Customising the QR code that points to your website or Facebook or YouTube page can give you an enormous advantage in terms of strengthening your brand. An eye-catching QR code becomes representative of the image of the company or service.

Fancy Pixel (FE)

Fancy Pixel is a startup that grew out of experience gained by its founders in the research laboratories of the University of Ferrara. It develops web and mobile applications for all major platforms, the Internet of Things and smart devices.

The main product is "LaBazza", the new community for anyone who loves a bargain. Users can report "bazze" (i.e. bargains) found in stores or online and also save money by taking advantage of the reports made by the rest of the community.
