22hbg SRL was established in Ferrara in October 2011 as a Digital Systems Integrator and since then has invested in research and development in the field of radio technologies to create dedicated and customised hardware and software solutions. The first product designed by 22hbg was Perfectstream (released in September 2012), hardware that allows conversion of an audio stream from analogue to digital (and vice versa) and offers radio broadcasters the ability to stream their own shows.
However, 22hbg's research has never been restricted to hardware. Considering the costs and risks associated with the production of physical goods (hardware), market trends analysis and industry demand, 22hbg decided to invest in and focus on software development, most notably apps for smartphone and tablet.
