Develop-Players is an innovative startup with a social commitment and a spinoff enterprise with the participation of the University of Bologna. They develop serious games designed for enhanced learning by students with Specific Learning Disorders (SLDs).SLDs are neurobiological in origin that generally emerge at school and have an enduring impact over the lives of individuals.

Lympha Lab S.r.l. was founded in May 2017 as a spin-off from Lympha Technologies S.r.l. Its aim is to develop market solutions in the Private Cloud SaaS/PaaS/IaaS market. Lympha Lab S.r.l. currently provides a VPS GREEN (www.vps-green.com) project for server hosting services and reliable IT infrastructures, based on the company’s own hi-tech Data Center located exclusively inside Italy (which means full compliance with the GDPR and protection from the Cloud Act).

Logicbid is a new and innovative online industrial auction platform that allows its users to purchasegoods that come mainly from asset liquidations and industrial failures, quickly and securely, at any time and from any location. It offers a wide range of lots, divided into categories, from agricultural vehicles to earth moving machines to industrial machinery, and much much more.

First spin-off of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the University of Trento, RSens develops, manufactures and markets devices that detect radiation. It is currently engaged in the development of innovative sensors for the detection of radon, which is a natural gas that emanates from the ground or from building materials and has been recognised by the World Health Organisation as a second largest risk factor for the onset of lung cancer. It is odourless, colourless, tasteless and totally invisible.

Hipert SRL is a spin-off from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. It was initiated in 2020 by Prof. Marko Bertogna and emerged from the HiPeRT laboratory, where research groups were seeking to exploit the performance/power of parallel processing platforms in a predictable manner, and in application contexts in which temporal constraints are critical.

AgroMateriae was established after three years of research in the laboratories of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, where excellent experimental results led to submission of a patent application for WPL (2019). ReFuel Solutions was born out of the urgent need to decarbonize the transport sector for goods and people. Bugslab is an innovative startup founded in 2021 with the aim of producing the most sustainable animal protein on the planet.   To achieve this objective, Bugslab focuses on the production of insects for use in pet food (whole or as food components for cats and dogs) and animal feed. In the coming years Bugslab also intend to develop their own brand for the sale of products for humans based on insect flour.
