The innovative startup Monitor the Planet® based in the Ravenna area was born in 2018 and offers surveying and mapping services with the best technological instruments in the world including total stations, 3D laser scanners, drones, etc.

Monitor the Planet has soon expanded to North Italy
by opening in Asti and Treviso. We grew to 150 customers and became a benchmark for Italy, with over 300 projects for surveying and mapping services with innovative technologies.

Launched in 2008 but established as a business in April 2011, Mosaic Project is a permanent workshop on the technology of mosaic-making.

Products and services offered

As well as the name of the company, Mosaic Project is the name its leading product: a suite of programs designed to support the whole process of creating mosaics, from the design phase to production, from the industrial to the individual artisan. The main field of application is ceramics, but the solution also extends to the construction industry. The product is licensed rather than sold.

Established in late 2013, MSX Technology produces innovative ventilation louvres for the unit heater, heat exchanger and cooling tower markets.

The target sectors are energy production and the treatment of petrochemical waste, as well as heat generation in general, both industrial and civil. This market is growing rapidly, especially in countries experiencing population growth.

MSX Technology has developed a new and innovative ventilation louvre with components that are fully optimised both in terms of weight and production efficiency.

Nestart arose as a spin-off from Bordoni Bonfiglio srl, a structural metalwork company that forms and laser cuts metal components for various sectors. Each day, Bordoni's production generates waste sheet metal offcuts. Nestart was established to treat these leftovers not as waste but as a potential for transformation into prestige items.

Neurality has realized an SaaS for analysing images and video applying artificial intelligence techniques with the aim of extracting crucial information for the businesses in which they are used.

After successful applications in the medical world, the Neurality methods are expanding to other markets, including industry and agri-food.

Quinck is a group of capable young people motivated towards contributing to technological and social progress by specializing in the design and development of innovative technologies, in particular the IoT, cloud computing, and software.

Builti Srl was created in 2018 with the development of the “RE.SIS.TO. Project” in collaboration with the University of Bologna.

The company operates in the field of the development, application, and management of systems of structural diagnostics, monitoring and implementation of advanced rapid analysis models, in support of civil engineering (strategic and relevant buildings, infrastructure, domestic and industrial construction) and of restoration (buildings and historical structures).

Aims to free available resources by reducing the energy consumption of buildings.

Using analysis models, Renavitas is able to evaluate the technical, economic and financial impact of an intervention on home energy efficiency, and recommend interventions for clients that quickly begin to reap benefits in terms of savings. 

The company provides a B2B service to assist machine manufacturers in the drafting, preservation, and presentation of technical documentation for products released onto the EC market in compliance with the regulations in force regarding health and safety, presenting themselves as an authorized body for the drafting of technical documentation.

SERENGEO is an innovative startup that provides consulting and design services in the field of geoengineering. Its goal is to transfer to industry the skills and knowledge gained in university research in the fields of mining engineering, environmental engineering, rock mechanics and geothermal energy.

UP Urban Planning Ltd is an engineering company that deals in a multidisciplinary way with local urban transformation  through the use of decision support tools and urban data to integrate multiple contexts.

Vela e Legno is a company project designed to combine the opportunities offered by new technologies with the experience and skills passed down through the generations in wooden boat design.

Vela e Legno was founded in 2013 as a result of Andrea Foschini's passion for the sea, boats, and wood.

WASP- World’s Advanced Saving Project is a company born in 2012 in Massa Lombarda (Ravenna- Italy) that designs, produces and sells 3D printers Made in Italy all over the world.

Wood Innovation develops innovative production methods based on bamboo, aiming for sustainability and digitalization.

By introducing new technologies (advanced glueing system, 3D printers, workstations, and software), the startup plans to improve the quality, efficiency, and competitiveness in the eco-sustainable materials sector.

Xnode addresses a B2B target market (engineering offices, building companies) as well as public authorities.

Youmarell is a new streaming platform that brings building sites within the reach of everyone. Inspired by the Bologna dialect expression "umarell" (elderly men who pass their time watching building sites with great enthusiasm and curiosity), we capture this cultural phenomenon and amplify it for a wider public.
